Intro

Standard Widgets

In addition to the four text widgets, there are five standard widgets.

To access widgets: Click the gray + symbols between every widget box (it turns blue when you hover your mouse over it). Click the to add a new widget box.

Standard Widgets

iFrames pull external content onto your digital exhibit (such as YouTube videos, Google Maps). It embeds them directly onto your page.

This widget works with any iFrame code you can find (e.g. YouTube, MapHub, Google Maps).

Click iFrame and a widget box will appear. This widget embeds iframe-based embed code into pages.
Copy and paste iFrame code from the site from which you wish to embed, e.g. YouTube, Google Maps (it begins with <iframe ).

a.To find the iFrame code of an object you want to include in your exhibit, go to that object’s website and click the “Share” button or icon. Look for the “Embed” option. Copy the iFrame code.

Click Save changes to see how it will appear on your page.

Click Video and a widget box will appear.
Drag & drop a video file into the widget OR copy/paste a URL from a website (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo) in the text box in your text.

Embed + Text will embed an items from an external source and allow you to add some descriptive text next to it. The final product will look something like this:

Click Embed + Text and a widget box will appear with a space to copy/paste a URL from an oEmbed-supported resource (e.g. YouTube, Twitter, Flickr).
Type the text that you want to accompany the resource below the URL.
Click Save changes to see how it will appear on your page.

Click Horizontal Rule and a light gray horizontal line will appear within the widget box (it is very light).

Click Save changes to see how it will appear on your page.

Uploaded Item Row allows you to showcase a row or grid of photos you upload into the widget (not items uploaded into your exhibit. The final project will look something like this:

Click Uploaded Item Row and a widget box will appear.
Click Choose File to upload items to display. Give each a caption.

Type in your Heading and Text and determine on which side of the row you want the text to appear. Click Save changes to see how it will appear on your page.
