Now that you have a basic understanding of copyright and fair use, you should be able to make preliminary judgments on whether or not you can use copyrighted materials in your own work.

When people don’t cite their sources or violate copyright, it is often unintentional. However, there are people out there who take advantage of others and derail the scholarly conversation. Now that you have completed this tutorial, you should be equipped to make judgment calls about behaving in an academically honest manner.
