For our workshop, you will need to have JupyterLab installed to code with Python. JupyterLab is an open-source integrated development environment that allows users to test out code and markdown. Below you will find instructions on how to install it step by step. Start here: GitHub (https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab-desktop).
Step 1: Scroll down until you see "Installation." Click on the installer you would like to download.
Step 2: Open your downloads folder and double-click on the file to start the installation process.
Step 3: You'll see the license agreement pop-up. After you've read it, select "I agree."
Step 4: JupyterLab will begin installing, looking similar to the image below.
Step 5: When it has finished installing, click "Finish" to complete the installation and open JupyterLab Desktop.
