Genifer Snipes is the University of Oregon’s Business & Economics Research Specialist, which means she’s the person to talk with for help with assignments, new business/product development research, or any other type of business-related project. She is the primary contact for the Department of Economics and Lundquist College of Business, including its Portland satellite programs.
She is also the Interim Librarian for Public Relations & Advertising within the School of Journalism & Communications.
Genifer has a Bachelor’s of History from Centre College, M.S. in Library Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University. Her favorite business subjects are entrepreneurship, data literacy, and competitive intelligence research. Outside of business, she’s the UO Library’s resident Tolkien nerd, enjoys knitting, military history, reading, and visiting zoos & aquariums.
