Hello and welcome to the research guide for Middle East and North African Studies!

Here you will find a curated collection of resources that you can make use of as you pursue research in any discipline pertaining to the Middle East and North Africa. This includes both primary and secondary sources, government/organization websites, databases, and news publications (both local and not). This is not an exhaustive list, but is hopefully relatively comprehensive on what you have access to through the UO and free-to-use external resources.

You can find the information and sources you need by selecting the options in the menu on the left - for instance "Articles (Scholarly)" or "Statistics."

If there's information you wish was included or if you want more specific research help (simple or complex) always feel free to email me or book an appointment with me! Buttons to email me and schedule an appointment can be found on every page on the left-hand side. -- Joel
