Every year, the UO Libraries offer two awards for undergraduate research done in the past year. You can submit term papers from upper division courses, or you can submit a thesis or other type of multi-term project.

The UO Libraries Undergraduate Research Awards recognize students who demonstrate high-quality academic work and excellent library research skills.
National & International Distinguished Scholarships
The Distinguished Scholarship page offers information and suggestions about prestigious awards such as a Rhodes, Marshall, Truman, Fulbright, Goldwater, or Churchill scholarships .
Grants
Federal and State Grants
Grants are a form of need-based financial aid, but unlike loans, do not need to be paid back. UO's Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships offers more information on federal, state, and UO grant programs.
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) offers mini-grants (up to $1000) to support undergraduate students that are conducting research, creative scholarship or work on an innovative project under the guidance of a UO faculty member.
