Get Full Access to The New York Times with Your UO Account!

UO students, faculty, and staff can now enjoy full digital access to The New York Times thanks to a subscription from the UO Libraries. This includes unlimited articles on NYTimes.com and the NYT mobile apps (available for Apple and Android).

Getting Started

• Already have a personal NYT subscription? If you use your UO email address for your current subscription, you'll need to cancel it before activating your free access through the library. Contact The New York Times customer service at 1-800-591-9233 or 1-800-698-4637 to cancel.

Activate Your Free Pass

• On Campus: Simply visit accessnyt.com and follow the on-screen instructions.
• Off Campus: Visit https://ezmyaccount.nytimes.com/grouppass/redir and click "Create Account." Be sure to use your UO email address when signing up. Important: We recommend using a different password for your NYT account than your UO login credentials.

Renewing Your Pass

Your access through the library subscription will need to be renewed annually. The New York Times can send you a reminder email before your pass expires.

Reactivating Your Pass (Every Year)

All users need to reactivate their access every 365 days. Here's how:

1. Visit accessnyt.com.
2. Find and click on the listing for "University of Oregon."
3. If you're on campus, click "here." If you're off campus, click "Go" and log in using your UO proxy.
4. Click the link "Already have an account? Log in here."

Enjoy Full Access!

Once you've activated your pass, you can access NYTimes.com and the NYT apps from anywhere. This includes:

• Reading unlimited articles
• Sharing content on social media
• Saving articles for later
• Subscribing to email newsletters
• Setting up personalized alerts
