LibrarySearch Help

This guide provides information on different ways you can use LibrarySearch to locate print and electronic resources.

Why Should I Log Into LibrarySearch?

When you sign into LibrarySearch, you are able to do the following:

  • Request library items (for pickup at one of our locations, for scanning via Scan & Deliver, or from Interlibrary Loan
  • Access resources only available to current UO students, faculty, and staff.
  • Add items or save your search to your "My Lists" for future use. (See the "Using "My Lists" page for more help with this feature.)
  • Set an alert for your search and automatically receive an email notification once new items are located that match your search criteria.

You can sign in directly on the UO Libraries home page or during a search (see below).

Sign in to LibrarySearch link below the LibrarySearch searchbox on the library's home page

Once you are in LibrarySearch, you can also sign in by clicking on the Sign In link in the top-level menu (if you are on a mobile device, you may need to click on the three dots menu (...)  to see the sign in option). The sign in option will also appear below the search box unless you dismiss it.

Two options to sign in to your LibrarySearch are highlighted, in the top right corner, and below the search box

You can also sign in by clicking on the sign in link while you are looking at a specific item record. This will allow you to see all the request options for that particular item.
