This is a guide to assist with finding videos and films in the UO Libraries

Borrowing & Use Policies

The primary purpose of the video collection is to support classroom teaching or face-to-face instruction. Most of the titles in our collections have been purchased at the request of faculty to support instructional activities.

Users may watch VHS tapes, DVDs, Blu-Ray discs, and laserdiscs on individual viewing stations equipped with VCR, DVD, Blu-Ray, and laserdisc players, which are available on the first floor of Knight Library near the Microforms area. Group viewing of videotapes is available in study rooms 245, 343, 402, and 426.

Loan periods:

  • UO faculty, staff, and students, and UO Alumni Association members:  6 days
  • Oregon Card holders: 4-hour checkout; in-library use only
