Consoles and Supporting Equipment

We have a growing collection of consoles and supporting equipment available for checkout for UO students and Staff.

Consoles available for check out:

• Playstation 4
• Playstation VR
• Xbox 360
• Xbox One

Supporting equipment we have available includes:

• Controllers for Playstation, Xbox, Wii, and Switch
• Dance Mats for Wii and Xbox (for games such as Dance Dance Revolution)
• Wii remote accessories
• Guitar controllers for Wii and Xbox (for games such as Guitar Hero)
• Wii balance board

Consoles and gaming equipment can be checked out  from the Price Science Commons information desk.

Games

Our video game collection features over 1000 games and is ever growing as we buy dozens of games each year.  We do take suggestions, but are more likely to buy games that are used for instruction or that have broad appeal. Our catalogue includes games for Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, and more!

To find games in the catalogue, navigate to the University of Oregon Libraries home page and type into the search bar the game you are looking for. If the game is in our collection, it will appear as a result and give you basic information such as availability, item information, and where you can find the game. You can request a game be sent to a specific UO library by signing in to your University of Oregon account and selecting request UO item located under the "Get it" category.

You can also browse our collection in person by stopping by the Price Science Commons & Research Library, our collection is located in front of the information desk.
