It is important to include permalinks in your references. This should be in the form of a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) or a URL.

• To format your DOI into a link, add https://doi.org/ before the string of letters and numbers.
• If there is not a DOI included look for the option to create a URL Permalink in the database. There is information below on how to locate permalink options and add URLs into Zotero. 

In APA PsycNet the option for creating a permalink is between the print and share buttons below the title.

In PubMed the permalink button appears to the right of the abstract under the share heading.
