Persistent Links for Library Resources

LibrarySearch allows the user to create a persistent link for items in this database.  To create the persistent link, use "Link to this item" found in the Tools Menu.  When a user follows this persistent link, she will be taken to the record in LibrarySearch which provides links to get the full text of the item when it is available.

When users follow the persistent link, they will be asked to log into LibrarySearch.  Links for the full text will only be available to current UO students, faculty and staff. 

LibrarySearch has been configured to automatically add the proxy information to the links for full text.   It is not necessary to add the proxy prepend information to the persistent link found in LibrarySearch.
