Chartered in 1952, AFT-Oregon, a state affiliate of the American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO, is a non-profit organization representing 17,000 Oregon workers in K-12, community college and higher education in faculty and classified positions; and child care workers, in both public and private sectors.

The Association of Oregon Faculties (AOF) is an association that represents and protects the interests of Oregon’s public university faculty and professional staff before the Oregon Legislature and various state agencies. Our primary goal is to increase the quality of our professional working environment.

The Coalition of Oregon School Administrators (COSA) serves and represents more than 2,400 school administrators, managers and executives. COSA was founded in 1974 to give Oregon's education leaders a united voice in helping to shape public policy, advocate for schools and speak on behalf of students.

Purpose: To assist school districts and the Oregon Department of Education in achieving Oregon’s educational goals by providing equitable, high quality, cost-effective and locally responsive educational services at a regional level.

The Oregon Community College Association (OCCA) represents the 17 publicly chartered community colleges and their locally elected board members.

The Oregon Education Association (OEA) is a union that represents about 41,000 educators working in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 public schools and community colleges. OEA’s membership includes licensed teachers and specialists, classified/education support professionals (ESPs), community college faculty, retired educators, and student members. OEA members also belong to the 3.2 million members of the National Education Association (NEA).

The mission of Oregon Alliance of Independent College and Universities is to represent and serve its member institutions, all of which are regionally accredited, nonprofit, private colleges and universities in Oregon.

Oregon PTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, consisting of nine regions, five councils, approximately 240 local PTAs, with a total of more than 14,000 members statewide.

The 2001 Legislature established the Quality Education Commission in statute to determine the amount of funding needed to meet the state's quality education goals.

Oregon School-Based Health Alliance (OSBHA) is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving as the collective voice to build a stable, effective, and accessible school-based health care system through the development of school-based health centers (SBHCs).

Founded in 1946, OSBA is governed by a member-elected board and serves K-12 public school boards, education service district boards, community college boards and the State Board of Education. Through legislative advocacy at state and federal levels, board leadership training, employee management assistance and policy, legal and financial services, OSBA helps locally-elected volunteers fulfill their complex public education roles.

OSEA is a member-driven union representing more than 22,000 workers in public schools, community colleges, libraries, parks and Head Starts.

The Oregon Student Association is a statewide, student-led advocacy and organizing nonprofit. OSA was established in 1975 to represent, serve, and protect the collective interests of students in post-secondary education in Oregon.

Since 1953, the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) has been strengthening higher education, workforce development, and behavioral health throughout the region. As an interstate compact, WICHE partners with states, territories, and postsecondary institutions to share knowledge, create resources, and develop innovative solutions that address some of our society’s most pressing needs.
