Oregon Policy Directory

The Cultural Advocacy Coalition of Oregon (CACO) is a 501(c)4 non-partisan advocacy group formed to lobby policymakers in Salem to ensure that all Oregonians have the opportunity to access arts and culture in their communities.

An independent nonprofit organization, the Regional Arts & Culture Council supports the creative economy in greater Portland by equitably providing funding and services to artists and art organizations; managing and growing a diverse, nationally acclaimed, public art program; and developing enduring public and private partnerships.

As uniquely Oregonian as public beaches and the bottle bill, the Oregon Cultural Trust was established 17 years ago by the Oregon Legislature as an ongoing funding engine for arts and culture across the state.

The Oregon Historical Society is a scholarly asset and a public resource dedicated to putting the power of history into everyone’s hands and to advancing knowledge in all corners of the world.

The OLA exists to promote and to advance library service through public and professional education and cooperation.

Founded in 1944, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is one of the nation’s leading science museums and a trusted educational resource for communities throughout Oregon and the region.
