Common Reading 2023-24: "Feminist Futures" & The Turnaway Study"

UO Libraries and the Common Reading Program - Our Partnership

UO Libraries partners with the Common Reading Program as one of our strongest connections with UO's First-Year Programs and the Division for Undergraduate Education and Student Success.

Since 2016, UO Libraries has been creating student facing research guides for the selected book or materials.

UO Libraries faculty and staff serve as advisors to the Common Reading Program, as members of the Selection Committee and the Programming Committee. In Summer 2022, we partnered on the exhibit, Unceded Kinship: Land, Place and People. UO Libraries also collaborated in 2022 on pop-up events at the Design Library (Plant Dyes in Artists' Books) and in partnership with the UO Craft Center for a plant-based ink making kit.
