LibrarySearch offers a streamlined interface for finding books and other media that combines the collections of UO Libraries and Summit libraries.

Tips for Searching UO LibrarySearch

Before using UO LibrarySearch, consider these tips:

  • Add "sports" to other keywords describing areas of law, e.g. sports contracts, sports labor, sports intellectual property.
  • Find one or two good results and click on the "Details" tab to uncover clickable subject headings that can be used to find more books. 
  • Use left-frame limiters to specify type of material (e.g. print book, e-book). 
  • Use left-frame limiters to identify books available on campus (e.g. Knight Library, Law Library).
  • Select UO + Summit to search other academic libraries in addition to the UO Libraries.
