HIST 407: Animal History

Why use Encyclopedias?

Encyclopedias are a good resource for getting background information for your research area and can help you decide on a topic and narrow your focus.

Encyclopedia entries are usually written by experts and often include a bibliography listing secondary and primary works on the topic as well as related sources.
