Our Technologies

Today, we're going to copy the CollectionBuilder Sheets template to create our own GitHub repository. We will connect it to a Google Sheet with metadata and use some special actions developed by GitHub to publish our repository as a website.

• Built-in features for word clouds, map, timeline
• Export metadata; determine which fields
• Variety of customization options, change banner
• Edit the about page, add a new page, features for exhibit pages

Items

• Files go into your /objects folder in GitHub repository
• GitHub has overall file size limitations
• CollectionBuilder has file type limitations
• Your metadata must match your file names exactly
