Remote law library services and resources

This guide is intended to help provide remote law students access to law library services and resources for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester.

Available Services

Email the law library Checkout/Reserves/Information Desk with any borrowing questions Request UO resources through LibrarySearch. We are currently offering:

  • email delivery of scanned articles available in the library
  • scheduled pickup of items requested for checkout and ILL

Law Library Curbside Pickup

Requested materials can be scheduled for pickup from the law library.

  • Select "Jaqua E. Law Library" as your pickup location.
  • Contact to arrange for a scheduled pickup during the following hours:

Tuesdays 8am-Noon

Thursdays 10am-2pm

Sundays Noon-4pm

  • At the pickup time, please wait at the south entrance, next to the Knight Law Center parking lot.

Additional pickup options are available at Knight library and Portland library and learning commons. A home delivery option is also available for those who are unable to pickup at those locations.

Returning Items to the Library

All library materials can be returned at the Knight Library book drop.

In the alternative, material can be returned by mail to:

Borrowing Materials from Other Libraries

Summit borrowing has been suspended until further notice.

While Interlibrary loan requests are being accepted, many libraries across the country are closed and not able to fill requests. Please fill out the Recommend Item for Purchase form. Note that not all fields are required. Under "Select Subject" select "Law (Law Library Faculty)" so the request is sent to the law library for consideration. If we are unable to purchase, a reference librarian will be in contact to discuss alternatives.
