Education

A short guide to get you started researching in the discipline of Education

Finding test reviews

If you're looking for tests or measurements related to education or behavioral science, there are a number of resources you can use. Keep in mind that the UO Libraries do not purchase tests, but we do have access to reviews and inventories of testing instruments that can help you identify what instruments may be relevant to you and who the copyright holder is.

All volumes of the Mental Measurements Yearbook can be found in the Reference area on the first floor of Knight Library at the call number Z5814.P8 B932

Finding tests

While the UO Libraries do not collect tests, there are a few databases that you can use to find test instruments.

PsycTESTS is part of the APA PsycNET database and is a repository for the full text of psychological tests and measures as well as a rich source of structured information about the tests. Click on "Select Databases" and make sure that only the box next to PsycTESTS is checked if you'd like to limit your search to tests. You can also click on "Test Lookup" under "Search Tools" to see an alphabetical list of tests indexed in this database.
